Terms of service

By creating a PlatTracker account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

PlatTracker is a tool for tracking survey jobs, field days, monuments and county recording. It is a record of what your firm entered, not a survey, a plat or a legal record: the signed plat, your field data and the county's records remain the authority, and GPS positions taken with a phone are approximate. You remain responsible for your professional work and for meeting your state board's rules and county recording requirements. We aren't responsible for missed deadlines, rejected filings or boundary disputes.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The company owner controls who joins the company's account and can disable users at any time.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.

Plans and billing

• Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
• New companies get a 14-day free trial with no card. After the trial, or if a plan lapses, your data stays readable and exportable, but adding and changing records needs a plan, and the account has the Solo plan's limits and logins until you subscribe.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep PlatTracker running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using PlatTracker at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
